IoT microservice supported based on Edge Computing – EdgeX Foundry

The main objective of this project is the configuration, with a use case, of an edge computing environment, contemplating the technologies involved, the proposed architectures and the various frameworks / projects under development.

The objective of this technological challenge is to build and program a prototype of a communication module for low-cost domestic mechanical water meters, which can replace that of the manufacturer's own (so that it is capable of sending readings and taking time periodically), which does not require the installation and maintenance of its own communications network, but is based on new de facto standards and existing commercial solutions.
